How many times has anyone actually read every word of the Bible?

The Bible is one of the most widely read and influential books in human history. It is estimated that more than 5 billion copies of the Bible have been printed, and it has been translated into more than 700 languages. However, despite its popularity, it is unclear how many people have actually read every word of the Bible.

It is difficult to accurately estimate how many people have read the entire Bible cover to cover. While some people make a point to read the Bible in its entirety, others may only read certain parts of it, or use it as a reference book rather than a continuous narrative. Additionally, many people throughout history were unable to read, and relied on oral traditions and interpretations of the Bible to understand its teachings.

That being said, there have been some notable individuals throughout history who are known to have read the entire Bible. Saint Teresa of Avila, a Spanish nun and mystic who lived in the 16th century, is said to have read the entire Bible more than 20 times in her lifetime. Similarly, John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church, is said to have read the Bible cover to cover 22 times.

In more recent times, the American evangelist Billy Graham is reported to have read the Bible in its entirety more than 30 times. Graham was known for his passionate preaching and evangelism, and he credited his knowledge of the Bible as a key factor in his success.
