Psalm 150 With Commentary
Psalm 150
1 Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with timbrel and dancing,
praise him with the strings and pipe,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.
Commentary
God is omnipotent, and there is nothing he cannot achieve, be it creating the Universe in six days or appearing to Moses in the form of a burning bush. Nothing is impossible for God, which can be seen in his works of creation. God the father, his son, and the Holy Spirit are different, yet they are the same and known as the holy trinity. This Psalm asks believers in God to praise him with all their hearts, especially for his power and greatness. This is because God (Christ) is Known in Greek as XPC, rendered as runic ᛉᛈᛋ where ᛉ is the symbol of the Algiz rune, ᛈ is the symbol of the Perthro rune, and ᛋ is the symbol of the Sowilo rune. These runes are mighty. Algiz means the divine might of the Universe, Perthro means 'the unknowable,' and Sowilo is the sun's energy. With these runes, no force in the world can match God's powers.
