What Does Prudent Mean In The Bible

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, prudent means showing or having sound judgment.

In my opinion, God is prudent. When King David committed adultery with Bathsheba, wife of Uriah the Hittite, and later got her husband killed, God showed good judgment by making him know through prophet Nathan that God was unhappy with him even though God loved David. God did not let his love for David cloud his judgment. God ultimately punished King David.
