What does son of perdition mean

Son of perdition is a term used in the Bible to refer to the beast that comes out of the sea or the antichrist.

Perdition conveys that he belongs to hell.

He will exalt himself over God and would want the glory that is only reserved for God.

Ultimately, the son of perdition is defeated by Christ at his second coming and thrown into the lake of fire.
