Who Does The Bible Say We Should Pray To

The Bible guides us to pray to God with the awareness that salvation comes through belief in his son Jesus Christ. We should be aware that ultimately, God will not judge, but he has left all judgment to Jesus and Jesus is currently sitting at the father's right hand in heaven.

Matthew 6:9-13 makes it clear that prayer has to be addressed to the father.

"“‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done....but deliver us from evil."- Matthew 6:9-13
